On Saturday, Sept 17 Woodgrove Centre will be hosting a cupcake decorating contest & cupcake eating championship to kick off their 30th birthday!  

Capcake Decorating Contest - 12 pm to 2 pm:

Children between the ages of 3 – 12 years old can join us at centre court near the water clock to decorate one cupcake to enter in Woodgrove's contest and one to take home.

Cupcakes will be judged on fun and flair. There will be two age categories 3 to 7 years old and 8 to 12 years old. The winners will SPLIT $500 in Woodgrove Gift Cards and Woodgrove will also be matching the prizes with a $500 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island.

Woodgrove Cupcake Eating Championship - 3pm:

How many can YOU eat? Did you know that Tim ”Eater X” Janus holds the World Record for eating 42 cupcakes in 8 minutes at the World Cupcake Eating Championship in April 2011?

Want to come see the carnage and have a laugh with us? Be at centre court before 3 pm to be sure you see all the action.

Participants need to be 18 years or older. The winner will receive a $500 Woodgrove gift card and Woodgrove will donate a matching $500 to Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island.
