BBBSCVI invites Seniors to join our wonderful team of volunteers

Senior Mentors:

BBBSCVI is inviting seniors to participate in the In-School Mentoring program. Mentors will be matched with a primary aged student for one hour per week from mid-September until the end of November. BBBSCVI staff will be training and supporting the senior mentors. Seniors will be assisted with transportation if needed.

Senior Advisors :

Individuals with goodwill and experience to share are invited to join the BBBS Senior Advisory Group. This newly formed group is presently discussing how to best recruit, engage and support senior mentors/volunteers. They will also assist in the evaluation of the in-school mentoring pilot project and offer suggestions as to how to make BBBSCVI programs more "senior friendly".
